What to look for in the photos
A finished floor is assessed standing up, in normal light. You can recognise good work by edges and corners that are the same shade as the middle of the room, small gaps that are filled, and an even finish without swirl marks.
Edges, corners and doorways are exactly where rushed work shows most. They are worth checking at the handover of your own floor, too.
