Privacy policy
This page explains which personal data is collected through the enquiry form, what it is used for, how long it is kept and what your rights are.
Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Tesla Labs OÜ (Estonia), registry code 16289238, address Paekalda 16, 13628 Tallinn, Estonia, email info@parketinhionta.eu.
The service is provided by floor craftsman Meelis Reha. Our contact person Jüri answers the phone and deals with customers in Finnish and English.
What data we collect
Through the enquiry form we collect the data you send us:
- name and phone number
- email address, if you provide one
- location
- floor details: the work wanted, type of floor, approximate area and preferred timing
- photos and your message
- your answer to the question of how you heard about us
What we use the data for
We use the enquiry form data to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out the agreed work.
We also use data about visits to the site and, when you send an enquiry, your hashed email address and phone number to measure how well our Google and Meta ads bring in enquiries. See “Cookies, analytics and advertising” below.
Legal basis
Answering your enquiry and preparing a quote are steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).
Spam protection is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the enquiry form usable (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analysing visits to the site and measuring ad results are based on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and spending our ad budget sensibly (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How the data travels and where it is stored
Data from the enquiry form travels and is stored as follows:
- The form data is sent by email to info@parketinhionta.eu. The mailbox is hosted on Hostinger's servers.
- A backup copy of the text fields (without photos) is kept on the web server for up to 12 months, so that an enquiry is not lost if the email fails.
- Photos exist only in the email. They are not saved on the web server.
- For spam protection, only a temporary hash of your IP address is kept, and it is deleted within a few hours.
How long we keep data
Enquiries that did not lead to work are deleted within 12 months.
If work is carried out, invoices are kept for 7 years under accounting law.
Who else sees the data
Our processor is Hostinger, which provides web hosting and email services. Hostinger processes the data only to provide these services.
Information given by phone is handled by our contact person Jüri, who may also see request details as far as needed to keep in touch with you.
Google (Google Ireland Limited) receives data about visits to the site through Google Analytics and Google Ads, and Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) through the Meta pixel. When you send an enquiry, both also receive your hashed email address and phone number.
The content of your enquiry (name, address, floor details, photos and message) is not passed to Google or Meta. Data is not sold.
Your rights
To exercise your rights, write to info@parketinhionta.eu. You have the right to:
- access your data
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data erased
- restrict the processing of your data
- object to the processing of your data
- receive your data in a machine-readable format in order to transfer it
Complaints
If you believe your data has been processed incorrectly, you can contact the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (tietosuoja.fi) or the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee). If you prefer, write to us first so that we can resolve the matter quickly.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion measurement and the Meta pixel. These set cookies in your browser and collect data about how the site is used: pages visited, clicks on the phone number, use of the enquiry form, device, browser, approximate location and which ad brought you to the site.
When you send an enquiry, your email address and phone number are passed to Google and Meta as a SHA-256 hash, not in readable form. This lets them match the enquiry to the ad that brought you to the site.
Google and Meta may also process data outside the European Union, including in the USA, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
You can delete and block cookies in your browser settings. You can switch off ad personalisation in Google's ad settings (adssettings.google.com) and in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
